Case Study: T-Mobile

T-Mobile came to Sandcastle with a very interesting problem. They needed a sales training application developed for their Tele Sales Representatives. It had to be web based and exactly replicate the mainframe system used by their reps which allowed them to sell phones, plans, accessories and services.
The problem was that the T-Mobile IT staff was too busy to meet the training deadline.
T-Mobile called Sandcastle to develop the application. This became a “ground up” development effort. We worked closely with T-Mobile’s inside sale teams and spent hours with their training staff. We engineered both the functionality and the administrative tools necessary to keep up with the rapidly changing world of phones, plans, and special offers.
Sandcastle then embarked on an aggressive timeline to build, test and deploy the application. This had to be done in time to train their staff in 4 North American call centers for the rollout of T-Mobile’s myFaves program. The challenge was met. The program was delivered on time and myFaves became a success. This training tool is used today and has help to train thousands of T-Mobile sales representatives.
